Job Description
Background and Assignment Description

The assignment aims to meet the organization's long-term needs by delivering modern IT solutions that support both operational and strategic goals. The role involves contributing to the management and development of business-critical systems and ensuring stable and efficient operation of central processes.

The organization is now looking for a System Owner IT who can participate in taking over the management and operation of an application from an external supplier, as well as supporting other system owners during periods of high workload.

As a System Owner IT, you work in close collaboration with the business and play a key role in ensuring that systems function efficiently, meet the business's needs, and enable continuous improvements. You will be part of a team of approximately 15 employees focused on system administration, lifecycle management, development, and operation of business-critical applications. These systems support business processes, planning, forecasting, transaction management, and operational business control. The applications have high demands for security, availability, and data quality.

Responsibilities
The assignment includes, among other things:

  • Handling incidents, problems, and troubleshooting in second-line support, as well as planning, presenting, and following up on changes.
  • Automating workflows and contributing to the improvement of working methods and routines.
  • Providing support and assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participating in technical requirement setting and the development of new solutions, features, and integrations between different systems.
  • Collaborating with the business, other IT functions, and external partners.
  • Managing supplier contacts and associated contracts.
  • Ensuring the implementation of recurring activities such as risk analyses, continuity planning, and operation and security-related follow-ups.
  • Working with the establishment and maintenance of test and development environments, as well as controlled deployment of applications and services.
  • Coordinating and conducting various types of testing together with the business and specialists within areas such as security and quality assurance.

Practical Information

  • Preliminary start date: 2026-10-01
  • End date: Latest 2030-09-30
  • Scope: Estimated to be 100% full-time.
  • Location: Client's office in Sundbyberg. Commute time: Max 2 hours travel time to Sundbyberg to be able to appear at the office on short notice if needed.
  • Security clearance: Security clearance and background check required.

Requirements

  1. University education in systems science or computer science of at least 180 credits, or alternatively at least 5 years of work experience in IT operations.
  2. At least 5 years of work experience from the last 10 years in system and application administration, including at least 1 year with business-critical and/or security-sensitive systems.
  3. At least 5 years of work experience in the role of System Owner/Application Owner IT.
  4. At least 2 years of experience working with PM3 and lifecycle management within applications or a corresponding model.
  5. At least 2 years of experience in supplier management and follow-up of international suppliers.
  6. Very good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written.

Merits

  • The consultant should have at least 2 years of work experience working with Agile methods and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • The consultant should have at least 2 years of work experience within IT security.
