Are you interested in technology and mechanics? We are now looking for a recon technician to be based at our premises in the Kistinge industrial area in Halmstad.
Job Description
As a recon technician with us, you will work with items such as wheelchairs, rollators, and similar assistive devices. You will inspect returned assistive devices, restore them, and quality-assure their functionality so they can be rented out again.
Working in the recon department, you will influence large parts of the logistical flow and may become involved in procurement issues regarding the product range.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Reconditioning of assistive devices
- Repairs
- Other tasks within the operations where we assist each other across different units
About Us

We are a revenue-financed operation working county-wide with education, information, consultation, purchasing, warehousing, and technical service of these devices. HMC rents out or sells these products.
Qualifications
You need to have a genuine interest in technology and mechanics. You are likely not the person who leaves the bike at the workshop when it needs fixing, but rather the one who prefers to fix it yourself!
Requirements
- Minimum of upper secondary education (high school diploma)
- Good computer skills
- Category B driver's license
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
Merits
- Experience in mechanical or technical work that the employer deems suitable

You are a structured and meticulous person accustomed to prioritizing work based on operational needs and requirements. You contribute to a positive work climate and good team spirit. You enjoy working both independently and in teams. Personal suitability is of great importance.
We look forward to receiving your application!
