Are you our new leading star in the breakfast dining room? Clarion Hotel Grand Östersund is located in the heart of the city's pulse, within walking distance of everything. We offer 197 rooms, 11 meeting rooms, relaxation with a pool and sauna, as well as a bar and brasserie NÒR. Your area of responsibility:

As our Head Waiter for breakfast and lunch, you are the heart of our guests' morning experience – the first ray of sunshine of the day! You greet our guests with a genuine smile and contagious energy, ensuring that every breakfast becomes an unforgettable start to the day. With a sharp eye for detail and a sense of rhythm, you create a warm, welcoming, and inspiring atmosphere where every guest feels seen and cared for.

Your main tasks, with a touch of Clarion magic:

• Deliver outstanding service: Actively meet and interact with our guests to ensure personalized, heartfelt, and professional service that puts the finishing touches on their morning. You create those small but meaningful moments!
• Be the heart of operations: You are operationally active and a natural part of the team, ready to perform all tasks required to give the guest a fantastic experience.
• Lead and distribute work: Responsible for station allocation and workload distribution for the department.
• Drive upselling: Lead and inspire the team to maximize upselling and be a role model in every guest interaction.
• Maintain a sparkling environment: Responsible for ensuring the breakfast dining room and serving areas are always sparkling clean and organized. A clean and beautiful environment is part of the experience!
• Contribute to the team's success: You understand and work towards increased profitability, high quality, and achieving the department's set goals.

We would be especially delighted if you also bring:

• Previous experience in leadership / head waiter
• Experience from the hospitality industry: Have you previously worked in breakfast service, café, restaurant, or hotel? This background is a great advantage for quickly getting into the role and understanding our guests' needs.
• A natural service mindset: You have an innate ability to see what the guest needs and act proactively. With a positive and solution-oriented approach, you turn every challenge into an opportunity to delight!
• Ability to handle high tempo: You thrive working in a structured and efficient manner, even when the clock is early and the pace is high. You keep your cool and deliver with precision!
• Knowledge of food hygiene: Experience with food hygiene and self-control is a big plus. It shows that you value our guests' well-being and safety as much as we do!

This is a permanent position at 70% (we apply a probationary period) with a start date and salary as agreed. The position includes early mornings, including weekend work.
