Head Waiter/Hostess sought for seasonal employment – immediate start until end of August

We are now looking for a head waiter/hostess for a seasonal position who wants to help create a top-class guest experience during our intense summer season. The role is central to the restaurant and involves close collaboration with the restaurant manager and the rest of the team in daily operations.

About the role

As a head waiter/hostess, you are a key part of the operation and work closely with both guests and the team in the dining room. You are responsible for maintaining a high and consistent level of service, as well as ensuring that evening service and bookings are carried out in a professional and well-organized manner.

You lead the work in the dining room during service, distribute tasks, and ensure that guests receive a warm, personal, and memorable experience. The role involves operational responsibility where you contribute to creating structure, energy, and a functioning collaboration between the service staff and the kitchen.

The work takes place at a high pace, especially during the summer season, so we are looking for someone who thrives on being present in the operation and is motivated by creating top-class service even during intense periods.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience from the restaurant industry, preferably in a leading service role
• Naturally possess leadership skills and enjoy leading in service
• Are structured, solution-oriented, and confident in making decisions
• Have a strong sense for service and guest experience
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working closely with the team
• Speak Swedish and preferably English

Good to know

• Seasonal employment with immediate start until August 31, 2026
• Working hours are approximately 90 percent
• Working hours vary and include evenings and weekends
• Gyllene Uttern has a collective agreement via HRF
