Our client is a privately owned restaurant in Stockholm. The company is now looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations and contribute to smooth food preparation, service, cleaning, and kitchen routines. This role suits a responsible and practical person who enjoys hands-on work, can follow instructions, and is ready to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate who wants to gain Swedish work experience in a professional kitchen and become part of a small team where reliability, hygiene, and a positive attitude are valued.
Location: Johanneshov, Stockholm, Sweden
We are looking for: Kitchen Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients, such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning food.
- Work with meat products, including butchering, preparation, and safe handling of meat.
- Assist chefs and other kitchen staff with food preparation and service.
- Perform simple cooking and plating according to instructions.
- Wash dishes, kitchen utensils, and equipment, and keep the dishwashing station organized.
- Clean work surfaces, kitchen equipment, and premises according to hygiene routines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience from kitchens, restaurants, food production, catering, or similar practical work is an advantage.
- Willingness to work with meat products, including preparation and butchering.
- Ability to follow instructions and work according to kitchen routines.
- Basic understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Ability to work at a fast pace.
- Responsible, punctual, and meticulous attitude towards work.
- Swedish at conversational level; Ukrainian is an advantage.
- You must be willing to work until 22:00 or 23:00 in the evening, 5 days a week.

- Practical and proactive.
- Meticulous regarding hygiene, cleaning, and food handling.
- Can follow instructions and workplace routines.
- Flexible and ready to support the team where needed.
- Comfortable performing various tasks in the kitchen.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
What we offer:
- Full-time job with the possibility of a long-term contract; you must be willing to work weekends. Two days off per week.

Important: This position is part of a project co-financed by the European Union through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).
