Here, you will utilize your full nursing expertise in an environment where patient flow is constantly changing. As a nurse at Gryta Dementia Centre, you become the hub of care for individuals with dementia and their relatives.

Your responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you work with the patient at the center of focus. With confident leadership, you collaborate with dedicated assistant nurses who handle the majority of basic care. You perform medical assessments, manage acute interventions, communicate with doctors, relatives, and case workers, and handle hospital admissions and discharges. You are also responsible for care planning, medication management, and providing support to the nursing staff.

At our facility, you will encounter patients in constant motion – many arrive directly from the hospital, and the length of stay varies from a few days to several months. Patients may also arrive on an emergency basis, making the work varied and developmental.

Working hours are scheduled during day and evening shifts, and every third weekend.

Your qualifications

You are confident in your professional role and capable of making independent decisions. Through your calm and attentive approach, you treat every individual according to our core value: "Always the best possible meeting," providing both clients and relatives with a sense of security in their situation. You view leadership as a natural part of the work and thrive in a team environment.

You hold a nursing license and possess strong medical knowledge, with experience working with the elderly or individuals with dementia being preferred. Experience with documentation according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) is a plus.

Before you can be employed, you must provide a clean extract from the police criminal record.
