We are looking for a Church Caretaker for Karlsborg Parish, currently based in Undenäs Congregation.

The duties consist mainly of outdoor services, i.e., all kinds of churchyard maintenance, minor property maintenance, as well as painting, wallpapering, and cleaning in the churches. During winter, you will be on call for snow clearance on weekends and public holidays. The team also shares duties for indoor services during funerals and church services. You should expect to work every third weekend.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing and attentive, capable of maintaining green areas both with machinery and manually. Experience operating ride-on mowers, loaders, and excavators is preferred. Knowledge of how to wash and service the machinery is also required. You should have an eye for what needs to be done in these varied tasks and be able to create a work schedule. During the summer period, you will assist holiday workers or interns. We place great importance on your ability to fit socially into our work team. If you have various driver's licenses, a chainsaw certificate, or an excavation permit, please mention this in your application.

Merits: Relevant education, experience working in church environments, good familiarity with machinery, ability to perform simple repairs and servicing on machines, and a customer-oriented service mindset.

A valid driver's license and access to a personal car are required for the position.
