We are now looking for staff members for our team within supported housing in social psychiatry. The position belongs to the Adult and LSS unit within Individual and Family Care and LSS.
The Individual and Family Care and LSS (IFO) division is part of the Welfare and Care Administration in Uppvidinge Municipality and consists of five units with our unit manager. There are also two senior social secretaries who provide case-specific support and leadership. We work with both authority enforcement according to the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), and the Care of Mentally Disordered Persons Act (LVM), as well as the implementation of measures according to the Social Services Act and LSS.

Development related to the new Social Services Act, where preventive measures, flexibility, and collaboration are central, and we are particularly focusing on developing support for parents with mental illness and neurodevelopmental disorders (NPD) through family-oriented supported housing. Employment for people with psychiatric diagnoses to create meaningful activities and meeting places for community and well-being is also in focus.

As a staff member in supported housing, you work closely with people with mental illness and/or neurodevelopmental disorder (NPD) issues. You provide individually adapted support in everyday life with a focus on strengthening independence, structure, and participation in society. The support may involve planning and creating daily structure, motivating social contacts and activities, collaborating with other actors regarding the individual's needs, and family-oriented support when relevant.
You work both independently and in teams in close collaboration with colleagues in other parts of IFO.
You have education in social work, such as social worker, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Experience in social work is a requirement, especially within change work or work with the target group.
Great importance is attached to personal suitability and interest in the target group within mental illness and neurodevelopmental disorder (NPD) issues.
A B-driver's license is a requirement.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start: 2026-09-01 or according to agreement.
Working hours: Schedule. Scheduled working hours incl. some evenings and weekends.
