We are looking for specialists in contract follow-up within the contracting phase for assignments related to Road 605 BIP–Flarken for Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration).

We are seeking consultants within one or more of the following competence areas:

• Contracting Specialist – Road

• Contracting Specialist – Surveying Technology

• Contracting Specialist – Safety and Working Environment

• Production Specialist – Road

• Production Specialist – Earthworks and Geotechnics

• Production Specialist – Surveying Technology

This is a consulting assignment. The base of operations is Boden.

The scope of the assignment varies depending on how many competence areas the consultant can cover.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role involves supporting the client's project management with independent contract follow-up during the execution of a road construction contract. The assignment includes monitoring the contractor's quality management, production, surveying technology, working environment, and traffic safety to ensure that contractual requirements, authority requirements, and client responsibilities are met. The work includes inspections at the construction site, review of the contractor's documentation, reporting, participation in meetings, and support during inspections and handover of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Establish and follow up on control programs, control plans, risk analyses, and the contractor's quality management
• Conduct construction site inspections and monitor production, quantity reporting, progress, and economic adjustments
• Participate in inspections, witness tests, rounds, construction meetings, design meetings, and coordination meetings
• Prepare documentation for ÄTA (Additional/Changed Works) tasks, quantity and cost adjustments, and follow up on utility owners' work
• Verify the contractor's inspections, tests, materials, products, and deliveries against contractual requirements
• Handle surveying technical issues, sample inspections, counter-measurements, as well as follow-up of quantities and final documentation
• Monitor the working environment, BAS-U (Construction Client), traffic and protection measures, and participate in safety and security rounds
• Report results, risks, and recommended actions, and ensure the handover of maintenance data and final documentation

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

General requirements for all roles:

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Valid B driver's license.

For all roles, a minimum of 3 years of work experience in road construction as a site manager or in a leadership function such as production manager, foreman, site manager, construction site monitor, or equivalent is required. The experience must not be older than 10 years. Knowledge of laws, regulations, standards, and directives within the relevant area is required.

Contracting Specialist – Road:

• Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives within the relevant area.
• Work experience (as a site manager or in a leadership function such as production manager, foreman, site manager, construction site monitor, or equivalent) from at least two road contracts in general traffic environments with a total turnover of >25 MSEK.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the infrastructure industry.
• Level 1.2 according to TDOK 2018:0371 "APV Competence in procured activities - Contracting and design services".

Contracting Specialist – Surveying Technology:

• Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives within the relevant area.
• Work experience (as a designer, specialist, project engineer, case handler) in surveying technology from at least two road projects with a total turnover of >15 MSEK and quantity adjustment according to AB04.
• Hold a certified "QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE for Surveying Work at Trafikverket" with a qualification type of at least 2.
• Documented work experience from road projects and surveying work in road environments.
• Documented work experience from projects where machine control/machine guidance has been used.

Contracting Specialist – Safety and Working Environment:

• Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives within the relevant area.
• Level 3 according to TDOK 2018:0371 "APV Competence in procured activities - Contracting and design services".

Production Specialist – Road:

• Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives within the relevant area.

Production Specialist – Earthworks and Geotechnics:

• Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives within the relevant area.

Production Specialist – Surveying Technology:

• Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives within the relevant area.
