Do you want to take a key role in the development of future infrastructure in northern Sweden? AFRY in Kiruna is now looking for a Construction Manager who wants to work closely with project managers and clients, take significant responsibility, and contribute to successful projects throughout the entire construction process, from planning to production and handover.

About the Role

As a Construction Manager with us, you have great freedom under your own responsibility. In your role as Construction Manager, you work together with the Project Manager to develop business within the competence area of infrastructure.

As a Construction Manager at AFRY, you help ensure:

• Communication with the client/customer
• Delivery according to set goals
• Cost control
• Schedule control
• Procurement processes
• Leading the project team towards set goals

You may work in projects from the design phase, where production planning and working environment are in focus, but primarily in the contractors' production phase. It can also be in the project's final phase with operation and maintenance. You contribute to the project being managed with regard to function, time, and budget.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education, for example within construction or civil engineering
• Experience from the civil engineering industry, e.g., foreman, project engineer, site manager, construction manager
• Knowledge of contract law
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license

Merits

• Education in Basic P and Basic U (safety certifications)
• Experience from larger infrastructure or societal projects
