The IBÖJ department in Härjedalen is part of the individual and family care services, the labor market unit, and outpatient care.
The outpatient unit works with parental support, support for relatives, and addiction treatment. We offer support to individuals in their homes, group sessions, family counseling, and individual conversations. We can also assist authorities in assessments regarding matters such as LVM (Act on Care of Misusers of Drugs) and LVU (Act on Care of Young People).
As we develop our preventive work, our need for therapists is growing. This means that you will have the opportunity to shape the operations based on your competence and ideas, in line with the new Social Services Act.
Job Responsibilities
The position involves working as a therapist in a team consisting of seven therapists and one unit manager. Together with the team, you will have primary responsibilities focused on treatment for children, young people, and parents. The treatment includes individually adapted conversations, both individually and in groups.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Social worker or behavioral scientist, pedagogical education, or alternatively other education deemed suitable by the employer.
- Experience working with the target group, as well as experience leading group sessions and individual conversations.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
- Knowledge of attachment theory and a system-oriented approach to work.
Merits:
- Training in Collaborative Dialogue, The Ladder (Trappan), or support for relatives of children with parents at risk of or suffering from addiction.
- Family therapy training and work experience in the field.
