Job Description

We are looking for a new colleague for the Cost & Construction Management section within our Advisory market area.

The Building & Project Solutions market area focuses on being by our customers' side and helping them with their biggest challenges at various stages of the construction process. We do this within our specialist areas: Information-Excellence, Projects Solutions, Energy & Sustainable Building, and Cost & Construction Management.

AFRY Cost Management is the market leader in Sweden for cost calculation and cost optimization of projects. We perform approximately 500 assignments annually consisting of consulting, cost assessment, calculations, cost control, and cost optimization. Our work enables cost optimization and creates predictability for our customers and their finances.

We are now looking for a Senior Estimating Engineer for the Cost & Construction Management section.

Together with us, you will help develop the organization and enable new market positions. Within our market area, we are all passionate about our fields and share our knowledge to grow and learn more.

In the role of Experienced Estimating Engineer, you will drive assignments within your area of expertise. Through analyses and calculations, you will be a trusted advisor to our customers, such as clients, investors, and contractors, ensuring well-founded decisions can be made. In your role, you work with estimates at all stages of a construction project.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who want to take the next step in your personal development and have experience from the construction industry. You currently work as an Estimating Engineer and have worked in this role for at least seven years. It is an advantage if you have experience with estimating work in both early stages and during the execution of a construction project. You are familiar with quantity takeoffs using tools such as Bluebeam. You are accustomed to handling 3D/BIM models as a tool in your daily work, for example using Solibri or Navisworks. You also have knowledge and a strong interest in sustainability, as we work with controlling and reducing climate impact as a natural part of our projects.

As a person, you have good social skills and are motivated by having a large network where you create long-lasting and sustainable relationships. Furthermore, we see that you are detail-oriented and have the ability to see both details and the big picture. You thrive working in a team but also have the ability to work independently. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as required by our clients, as well as a valid driver's license (Category B).
