Are you driven by creativity, colour, and thoughtful design? Do you have a diploma in Design or equivalent experience and want to create products that bring joy, comfort, and imagination into everyday life? We are now looking for an Assistant Designer to join our team at the Lindex head office in Gothenburg!

This is a substitute position, approximately 4-6 months, with a start as soon as possible.

What you get

At Lindex, you’re not just joining a fashion company; you’re becoming part of a company with a higher purpose: to drive meaningful change for women, and a team that truly cares about its people. When you join us, you’ll also enjoy:

  • Supportive onboarding that helps you feel confident and ready
  • A culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and constructive feedback
  • Generous 30 per cent staff discount
  • Bonus programme based on our shared success
  • Collective agreement

Your role in our team

As Assistant Designer, you are part of one of our buying teams within the purchasing department. You support the Designers and Design Lead throughout the design process and contribute to both the daily tasks and creative development of our collections. In the role, you will also:

  • Develop sketches, prints, and artworks with a keen eye for colour, character, and storytelling
  • Assist in product development and communication with our colleagues in production
  • Ensure timelines are kept and follow up on design tasks for each order
  • Translate trends into appealing, commercial products made for movement, play, and comfort

Is this you?

You have a strong interest in commercial fashion and a natural ability to create soft, functional, and expressive designs. You’re organised, creative, and always consider how a product will look, feel, and perform in everyday use.

You enjoy a fast-moving environment where you learn new things and collaborate with different teams. You take ownership of your development, appreciate feedback, and are curious about how digital tools can elevate your work. Also, this probably sounds like you:

  • A university diploma in Design and/or equivalent experience
  • Strong skills in print and artwork creation – a central part of this role
  • Good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Confident communication skills in English, both spoken and written
  • Bonus: experience from retail, graphic competence, and knowledge of 3D tool CLO

We are Lindex

We’re a growing global fashion company from Sweden, driven by a higher purpose: to drive meaningful change for women. Our commitment to women, sustainability, and customers guides everything we do as we build a brand-driven, sustainable company with a digital-first mindset. At Lindex, we’re all about doing things together – collaborating, sharing ideas, and supporting one another. Because together, we achieve more than we ever could alone.

Got a good feeling? We’d love to hear from you.

Apply today – we’re excited to get to know you! If you have questions, reach out using the contact details below. We review applications continuously, so don’t wait too long. We like to keep things simple, so please apply online (not by email).
