On the fresh food department, you will be part of a tight-knit team working efficiently to offer customers the highest level of service, the finest ingredients, well-stocked shelves, and a passion for food. We collaborate with some of Sweden's and the world's leading producers to offer our customers the absolute best in food. In our manual delicatessen counter, cheese, charcuterie, meat, fish, and shellfish are displayed together. We have coolers loaded with packaged fresh goods and charcuterie that we restock daily. In our kitchen, we prepare food for the food bar, catering, as well as meal boxes and ready-to-cook meals. We also manage a salad bar, handling refills, cleaning, etc. All of this is dedicated to providing the best food inspiration and customer experience!

In your role with us on the fresh food department, you will primarily work with stocking shelves in the charcuterie section and in our delicatessen counter. Examples of tasks include:

• Greeting customers with top-class service
• Stocking shelves
• Date and quality control of packaged fresh goods
• Sales in the delicatessen counter
• Setting up the delicatessen counter and contributing to keeping it inviting, fresh, and inspiring
• Cleaning
• Maintaining our routines for safe food handling

Other tasks may include producing and preparing food for the food bar, catering, and meal boxes, as well as managing the salad bar with refills and cleaning, and much more. Customer focus is central to all tasks, and we always put the customer first.

As we are a developing store, it may also become relevant to have tasks in other departments, so it is important that you are unpretentious and open to learning new things. With us, you will be part of a fast-paced work environment with high engagement. The store has a positive development with a rapid pace of change, and here we see challenges as opportunities. ICA Kvantum Värtan is a quality-certified store according to the industry standard "Swedish Standard for Food Handling in Stores", which means we constantly work according to the regulations in place to guarantee customers safe food. This is an important part of the job.

To fit this role, we believe that you:

• have experience from delicatessen, stocking shelves, or similar
• have a genuine interest in food and taste experiences
• have an eye for detail, quality, and hygiene
• read and speak Swedish
• and above all – have a desire to contribute to a good atmosphere, positive development, and happy customers!

Experiences that are meritorious:

• experience working in a delicatessen counter, stocking charcuterie in an ICA store
• education in food safety or food hygiene
