About the Role

We are now looking for an engaged Sous Chef for the kitchen at Smådalarö Gård Hotel & Spa. In this role, you will become a key person in driving and developing the business together with our Head Chef. You will be involved in all daily kitchen work and contribute both operationally and strategically to ensure high quality in everything we deliver.

As Sous Chef, you are responsible for scheduling, purchasing, and menu planning, among other things, while also being a key part of ensuring daily operations. The role also means that you are the department head and part of the management team, where you have the opportunity to influence both development and results.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have at least 5 years of experience in the role of Sous Chef or kitchen leadership. You are passionate about working long-term to develop both the kitchen and the business. Previous experience of personnel responsibility or other leadership roles is an advantage. It is an advantage if you have access to a driver's license and car to get to the hotel.

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and confident in your leadership. You thrive in an environment where high tempo meets creativity and where quality and guest experience are always at the center. You are a team player who likes to collaborate, but you are also independent and confident in making decisions when needed.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) and is a permanent employment with start date as agreed. Varying working hours during weekdays, weekends, day, and evening shifts.
