How the babysitter job works

Working as a nanny is both fun and flexible; you choose which assignments you want and when you want to work. As a babysitter, you help one or more families in your area with childcare. This can involve everything from picking up children from preschool/school and having fun at the playground to having snacks or bedtime routines. The most important thing is that it is fun and safe for the children, the parents, and you!

You will receive more information about this specific family during your interview, but here are some good things to know:

• Number of children: 1
• Age: 3 years old
• Days per week assistance is needed: 1-2 times a week
• Times: Mostly pickup from preschool, and sometimes in the evenings and on weekends (each shift is always at least 3 hours)

The part-time job is perfect for you if you:

• Are responsible and playful with a genuine commitment to children
• Have experience independently caring for one or more children (0-6 years)
• Can work flexibly on weekdays and weekends as a nanny
