Your Role

Do you want to take overall leadership in a business that develops advanced systems at the technological forefront while contributing to increased societal security? As Department Manager for the Communication Solutions department, within the Product Unit Integrated Systems, you will hold a key role where you lead through other leaders and help shape both the organization and future solutions.

In the role of Department Manager, you are responsible for and lead a group of Section Managers and their teams. Your primary task is to lead the business towards set goals with a clear direction, create the necessary conditions, and ensure that the organization delivers - both here and now and in the long term. You operate at the intersection of technology, business, and leadership, where your ability to create structure, engagement, and collaboration becomes crucial.

Your assignment involves:

• Leading, coaching, and developing Section Managers, with a focus on strong and unified leadership
• Ensuring that the organization delivers complex programs and projects according to set goals regarding time, quality, and budget
• Driving strategic development for the department, including competence supply, capability development, and future offerings
• Creating conditions for collaboration between teams, functions, and external partners - within and outside the business unit
• Contributing to business development and maintaining strong customer relationships in societally important areas
• Identifying improvements and new opportunities in a business with strong growth

As a leader, you become an important part of the development of the entire Product Unit Integrated Systems and have significant influence on how the business develops forward. The location for this role is Arboga. Travel in the role may occur.

The Product Unit Integrated Systems brings together competence in command and control systems with a major focus on system integration of capabilities within ground-based air defense. The Product Unit also drives complex system integration programs where all constituent competencies are gathered within the product unit.

The Department Communication Solutions contributes an important component to the overall solution. It consists of approximately 150 employees and is in strong growth. The business is primarily located in Arboga.
