As a pool chef, no day is the same, making the job exciting, stimulating, and varied. You will work in different kitchens, with different menus, work teams, and guests in preschools, schools, and elderly care. You will get to know many interesting colleagues and workplaces and, together with your work team or as a solo chef, be responsible for meal quality and cooking in the kitchen.

The duties include preparation and cooking of food, meals, and special diets. Furthermore, all tasks occurring in a large kitchen and serving are included, such as self-control, dishwashing, and cleaning. You are expected to have a sustainable approach and utilize economic resources efficiently. In the role of pool chef, you also have the opportunity to influence and develop your work in different work groups and forums. You also perform certain administrative tasks such as orders, invoice management, and diet data management.

Who are you

We are looking for you who have chef training or other education that the employer considers relevant, or alternatively work experience that corresponds to the educational requirement. You need to have worked for a few years as a chef and have experience with special diets. To be able to travel to different kitchens, you also need a B-driver's license and access to your own car. You have good computer skills and basic knowledge of the most common programs in Microsoft 365, e.g., Teams. To be able to read and understand work instructions, you need to master Swedish in speech and writing. You also need to be able to handle physically demanding work with heavy lifting.

Experience working in Matilda or other diet data systems as well as Unit4 or other e-commerce systems is meritorious.

About us

The Technical Administration is responsible for creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for the municipality's inhabitants, employees, and visitors. We work broadly and coordinated within several important service areas including property, street and park, meals, and local care. With us, you work to make everyday life better for our inhabitants every day.

Within the meals department, approximately 200 employees work with preparing and serving meals. We are located in preschools, primary schools, after-school centers, high schools, and within the care administration. With a focus on service and treatment, we solve the operation's needs with high competence and visible quality.
