Do you want to work with boats, engines, and technology in a varied environment? We are now looking for an engaged and skilled boat mechanic who wants to become part of our team.

About the position

As a boat mechanic, you will work with service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of marine engines and technical systems. The work covers both motorboats and other marine vessels, with varying tasks throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of inboard and outboard engines.
• Troubleshooting and repair of engines, electrical systems, and marine installations.
• Installation of accessories and technical equipment.
• Winter conservation and launching/hauling of boats.
• Polishing.
• Bottom painting.
• Fiberglass/plastic repairs.
• Customer contact and technical advice.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a boat mechanic, automotive mechanic, or similar technical trade.
• Has good knowledge of engines, electricity, and troubleshooting.
• Is meticulous, self-initiative, and solution-oriented.
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B).
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish.

Meritorious qualifications

• Experience with marine diesel and gasoline engines.
• Knowledge of Volvo Penta, Yamaha, Mercury, or similar brands.
• Experience with marine electrical systems and electronics.
• Forklift license or operator certificate for construction machinery.
• Category BE driver's license.
