About the role

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you become an important part of the projects and work through the entire project process – from solution design and programming to commissioning and handover to the customer. You work closely with customers, project managers, and electrical designers, following projects from idea to finished solution. The work alternates between the office, customer visits, and commissioning on-site, creating a varied daily life with close proximity to both the technology and the end customer. In the role, you will among other things work with:

• PLC programming and system integration

• Development of HMI and SCADA solutions

• Troubleshooting, optimization, and technical support

• Commissioning and startup in Sweden and internationally

• Technical dialogue with customers and project teams

• Collaboration with project managers, electrical designers, and other technical specialists

About you

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in industrial automation and who thrive in a role where you get to combine programming, problem-solving, and customer-facing work. You feel confident taking responsibility for your parts of the projects and appreciate the variation between working in the office, at the customer's site, and on-site during commissioning.

We believe you thrive in an environment where you get to take personal responsibility and where technology, problem-solving, and customer contact are a natural part of everyday life. You are motivated by solving technical challenges and turning ideas into working solutions at the customer's site. We would like you to have:

• Experience of PLC programming within industrial automation

• Experience of commissioning and working on-site

• Good understanding of electrical drawings and industrial installations

• Experience with Siemens, Rockwell, or ABB

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

It is also meritorious if you have:

• Experience of electrical design, for example in EPLAN

• Experience from process industry, energy, material handling, or marine operations

• International project experience

• Knowledge in C#, Python, or other high-level languages
