Then apply for the role of School Nurse within the Student Health Services in Sigtuna. With us, you will have the opportunity to work genuinely on health promotion and prevention. You will have a central position located at a secondary school in central Sigtuna. You will have the opportunity to develop together with a group of school nurses with a pleasant collegial atmosphere, mutual support, and open, participatory, and daily communication. There is also positive and engaged development work underway across the entire central Child and Student Health Services, and you will become a colleague to the medically responsible leader, school doctors, school psychologists, special educators, and other central functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Health conversations and vaccinations.
• Work with lifestyle-related health.
• Simple healthcare interventions.
• Clinic visits with the school doctor.
• Group-oriented interventions.

You also play an important role in the Student Health Team's work and thrive in working cross-professionally to support students' development towards knowledge goals. It is natural for you to have a positive collaboration with guardians, school management, and educators. You also collaborate with external healthcare providers in individual cases.

Qualifications

• We are looking for you who are a registered nurse.
• You have specialist education in child and youth health or are a district nurse.
• It is meritorious if you have experience as a school nurse.
• You have the ability to work independently but also enjoy collaborating with others.
• You are good at planning and organizing your work, completing what has been started, and meeting deadlines.
• You handle stress in a constructive way and maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks.
• You work to find solutions to emerging problems.
• You take active initiative in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships.
