We are looking for

We are looking for an engaged and experienced social worker for the Child and Youth Unit, starting immediately. As a social worker, you will work with authority exercises according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act with Special Provisions on Care of Young People (LVU). You will handle cases concerning children and young people up to 18 years old, conduct investigations, and make decisions in the best interest of the child. Responsibilities:

• Case handling and authority exercises according to SoL and LVU
• Investigate, assess, and decide on cases concerning children and young people
• Collaborate with internal and external actors such as schools, police, and healthcare
• Documentation and follow-up according to current legislation
• Participate in workplace meetings and supervision

• Social work degree or equivalent education
• At least 5 years of experience working as a social worker in child and youth care
• Good knowledge and practical experience working with SoL and LVU
• Ability to make well-founded decisions with the child's best interest in focus
• Good ability to document and express yourself verbally and in writing
