Description

We are currently looking for a licensed physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Unit in Vännäs. Here, four physiotherapists and seven occupational therapists work with a holistic approach, handling all cases related to assessments, rehabilitation, treatment, home visits, and prescription of assistive devices. Our work is carried out in close collaboration with other healthcare personnel, social secretaries, and care staff within the disability support service, special housing, and home care services.

Responsibilities

The physiotherapist we are looking for will primarily work with patients receiving services in ordinary housing, but also in special housing and services according to the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). You will work with rehabilitation, habilitation, and preventive measures.

You will also assess physical capacity and subsequently propose and, if necessary, prescribe assistive devices, training initiatives, and maintenance measures.

Mentoring and educating care staff is an important part of the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have good communication skills and a strong desire to collaborate in teams across professional boundaries. You need to have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work both independently and in a group. We also want you to enjoy working in an environment where changes can happen quickly. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, good teamwork skills, and the ability to mentor and motivate patients and care staff in a rehabilitative working method. Experience working in home healthcare and other municipal operations is meritorious.

Start date: ASAP or as agreed.

Before an employment offer is made, a valid extract from the police's criminal and suspicion register for work in the home with the elderly must be presented.

Starting salary for a newly graduated physiotherapist is 34,000 SEK/full-time. Vännäs Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.
