Do you want to work in a team where you make a real difference in people's daily lives? We are now looking for a Rehabilitation Assistant for Vännäs Municipality for a 6-month fixed-term position.

As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will be part of a work team consisting of occupational therapists and physiotherapists.

Responsibilities

The position covers both ordinary housing and Specialized Housing for the Elderly (SÄBO) within the municipality. In the role of Rehabilitation Assistant, you will among other things:

• Carry out rehabilitation measures
• Support users in training and daily activities
• Conduct and instruct in training programs according to prescriptions
• Handle and install assistive devices and provide support regarding their use
• Document and follow up on measures
• Collaborate with licensed personnel and care staff
• Contribute to the development of working methods and routines

Start date: Immediately.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience working as a Rehabilitation Assistant and are educated in the field. Alternatively, you have an education as a nursing assistant or healthcare assistant. For the position, a B-driving license is required, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You are a responsible and flexible person who enjoys working both independently and in teams. You have good collaboration skills and a professional attitude in your contacts with both colleagues and patients. Furthermore, you are structured and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively. We also see that you have a genuine interest in rehabilitation and working with people. It is meritorious if you have experience working within municipal healthcare, as well as knowledge or experience of assistive devices, training measures, and transfer training. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

In accordance with the Act on Register Control in Home Care for the Elderly and Adults with Disabilities, anyone offered employment must present an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register from the Swedish Police Authority. The extracts are requested only after a job offer has been made.

The starting salary for a qualified nursing assistant is 27,600 SEK/full-time. Vännäs Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.

Terms

Fixed-term position for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
