About the position
Frökontrollen Norden AB provides analysis and sampling services to the agricultural sector. Their headquarters are located in Örebro, where the laboratory is also situated for sampling and analysis of seed and grain. In your role as a sample collector, you are responsible for picking up samples of seed and grain in Skåne, which involves transportation between Örebro and Skåne. The work shifts involve longer driving distances where you pick up samples in Skåne and transport them back to Örebro on the same day. The driving is done in a van provided by Frökontrollen.
You are expected to be available to work approximately 1 day per week, and scheduling is done together with your nearest manager and colleagues with good advance notice.
Responsibilities
Your workday begins by picking up the van at Frökontrollen's office in Örebro, after which you begin your drive down to Skåne. Once in Skåne, you are responsible for professionally meeting Frökontrollen's customers and receiving samples of seed and grain. After the pickup is completed, you begin your journey back to Örebro, where you finally unload the samples at the office in Örebro before finishing your workday. Driving, together with the pickup, is estimated to take approximately 12 hours, and you are entitled to breaks and lunch during the shift.
We are looking for someone who
- Is a student at least 50%, or alternatively has another main occupation of at least 50%
- Can communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required for the job
- Has a B driving license and feels confident with longer driving distances
- Is available for work approximately 1 day/week
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience or background within the agricultural sector
