Since the first Melander's store opened in 1961 at Östermalms Saluhall, our primary drive has been to offer the finest raw ingredients nature can provide.

Our long-standing love affair with top-quality ingredients – whether it be meat, fish, cheese, or fruits and vegetables – naturally extends to our restaurant concepts as well. Our various restaurants differ from one another, but the core principle remains the same: good chefs and good ingredients. It doesn't get simpler than that.

What once started with two passionate brothers and a small fish counter in Östermalmshallen has today grown into a delicatessen empire with restaurants and shops across Stockholm.

We are now looking for a chef with a passion for cooking who, together with us, wants to give our guests a memorable experience. You will work in a wonderful team with a high level of knowledge and creativity. We see you as a good team player who thrives in a sometimes fast-paced environment, is quality-conscious, and enjoys working across different departments. We value someone with a good heart and a cheerful, positive attitude. There is room for you here if you want to develop and have the desire to contribute your own knowledge and experience.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest and good knowledge of food, cooking, and beverages
• Has at least 2 years of professional experience working in a kitchen with classic Swedish cuisine and traditional Swedish ingredients
• Thrives in both hot and cold kitchens
• Is a trained chef
• Is flexible, creative, and solution-oriented
• Enjoys working in an open kitchen with guest contact
• Is passionate about exceeding guest expectations
• Is structured, organized, and has good collaboration skills
