Sysav is now looking for another Maintenance Technician! As a Maintenance Technician at Sysav, you work to ensure safe and well-functioning energy facilities in a business with high demands for safety and quality. You will become part of an experienced team where collaboration, technical expertise, and responsibility are central – and where your work contributes to a more sustainable region.

In this role, you work with preventive, corrective, and improving maintenance to ensure high operational reliability in our facilities. With us, you will have a developing and varied job with technical challenges every day.

Your team
You will become part of a competent and experienced team consisting of eight maintenance technicians. Work is often done in groups of two or more, depending on the task. The team is characterized by a strong safety culture, a great sense of responsibility, and very good camaraderie – at Sysav, we help each other and enjoy working together, even in a busy everyday life.

Your role
As a Maintenance Technician, you work in our energy facilities with:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, and cranes
• Improvement work to increase operational reliability and technical availability
• Minor new installations and support in new acquisition projects
• Reporting in our maintenance system (Hexagon EAM)
• Contact with suppliers and contractors
• Internal contacts with various operational units

• Are quality-conscious, responsible, and meticulous

• Communicate clearly and function well in a group

Important experience

• Upper secondary education in mechanics, workshop, or equivalent, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, service, or repair. 3–5 years of experience is desirable, but less experience may also be considered.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings
• Computer literacy and interest in digital support systems
• Category B driver's license

Meritorious qualifications
If you have education or knowledge in any of the following areas, it is an advantage:

• Forklift certification
• Fall protection training
• Lift training/mobile work platforms
• Welding skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics
