We are looking for a Plumbing Technician

Techem IMD-system provides meters, systems, and services for individual measurement and billing (IMD) of water, heat, and electricity consumption in multi-family homes and row house areas.

We help our customers install meters and subsequently handle automatic reading, controls, and billing data.

About the role:

For Svedala, we are looking for an additional technician who works in a team with existing technicians and fitters, with management from the headquarters here in Svedala. You will be based at our warehouse and office in Svedala and will primarily operate in the Malmö/Lund area, although travel to other locations in Sweden will occur.

As a technician with us, you work independently in the field with:

• Installation of water and heat meters
• Commissioning of remote reading systems
• Troubleshooting and service

The work takes place primarily in residential homes, which means daily contact with customers.

Your responsibilities:

To succeed in the role, you are structured, responsible, solution-oriented, and handy – and you thrive in social settings. You have a technical interest and knowledge within plumbing, technology, and property.

The role also includes:

• Planning your work and ensuring the right materials
• Keeping track of inventory and equipment
• Documenting completed work

Qualifications:

• Trained plumbing technician or equivalent experience
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Previous experience with installation and maintenance of building technical water and/or heating systems is an advantage
