Job Description

Our school, grades F-6, with an integrated preschool, is located in the beautiful nature of Tyresö Brevik, surrounded by forests and the sea.

We serve lunch to approximately 400 students and staff members per day, preparing meals from scratch whenever possible. The lunch consists of a buffet with several different options.

We are a team of three in the kitchen. We are looking for you who have a solid interest in cooking, are creative, and are passionate about serving well-prepared and nutritious meals according to the Swedish Food Agency's recommendations. It is important that you greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner. You should be able to collaborate well with your colleagues. You are social and truly want to do your best for the school.

Qualifications

You have a cook's education within the restaurant/food program or equivalent vocational education, as well as education in food hygiene/HACCP, self-control, and documentation.

Tasks in our large kitchen include, among other things, menu planning, food ordering, bread baking, preparation of special diets, maintenance of the kitchen and equipment, and budget work.

You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

Terms of Employment

Working hours: The position is 38 hours/week

Duration: Permanent employment with a 6-month probation period

Start date: August 5, 2026, or as agreed

Salary: Fixed monthly salary
