We are looking for an Occupational Therapist for the Medical Unit

We are looking for you, a licensed occupational therapist, for a temporary position with the possibility of extension. As an employee here, you will be part of a team with a wonderful family-like atmosphere and good cohesion, where we work together with the individual in focus, for the individual's best interest.

Our team consists of nurses, district nurses, MAS (Nurse Specialists in Mental Health), occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We operate based on Bergvattnet Care, Health, and Welfare, where we independently plan and structure our day. Here, we are close to each other as well as to other professions, which facilitates cooperation and gives us good opportunities to distribute work and support each other.

We are positive towards future welfare technology and work, among other things, with digital support for health-promoting initiatives and to counteract loneliness.

Responsibilities

You perform standard occupational therapist duties within the framework of municipal health and medical care responsibility. Your tasks include assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on occupational therapy interventions for people residing in elderly care facilities, group homes within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and adults needing interventions in ordinary housing. You supervise and educate care staff. Work with documentation and deviations according to current laws and regulations is included.

You are proactive and responsible, with strong subject matter competence. Naturally, you are respectful in your interactions with care recipients and their relatives. You have the ability to work independently, carefully, and prioritize correctly. You thrive in collaboration to maintain good communication and cooperation.

Qualifications

• Licensed occupational therapist.
• Experience from similar assignments within municipal health and medical care is meritorious.

Conditions

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00
• Driver's license: Category B. Access to a company car is available.
• Duration: Eight months, with the possibility of extension.
