We are now looking for a Nursing Assistant for the endoscopy clinic in Ystad. Ystad Hospital is a welcoming emergency hospital characterized by openness and community. The Business Area (VO) Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Intensive and Perioperative Care in Ystad consists of outpatient activities as well as surgery and urology departments, and the Planned Surgery Department in Ystad. At the clinics, we work in teams with the patient in focus. We receive patients from primary care, inpatients, and also from other hospitals in Region Skåne.

Job Description

As a Nursing Assistant here, you help assist with examinations together with doctors and play an important role in creating security for patients during their visit. You exude calmness and easily see what the individual person needs during their visit. We offer varied work with good opportunities to take on significant responsibility and develop in your professional role.

The clinic is open Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a Nursing Assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure. We prefer that you have studied with a focus on emergency care/healthcare or have experience/knowledge that the employer considers equivalent. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. Previous work within endoscopy activities and/or knowledge of Melior and PASiS is meritorious for the position.

We value that you have a good attitude, a high willingness to serve, and good social competence. You are flexible and enjoy working both in teams and independently. To succeed in the position, it is important that you take initiative for improvements that develop the work at the unit and that you have a desire to develop both your professional role and your knowledge within your field. Furthermore, you have a holistic view of the work and the patient with a good ability to prioritize and collaborate. It is important for the team that you can see the big picture and that you are a good team player. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
