Women's Surgery (OKK) is a highly specialized operating department where operations are conducted around the clock. We provide anesthesia and operating services to the Women's Health care area (VO), as well as to General Surgery. We perform both elective and emergency surgery. Adjacent to the department is a well-functioning pre- and post-operative ward. At OKK, we have approximately 60 employees.

Job Description

We offer an exciting opportunity for an Operating Room Nurse to join our wonderful team!

At OKK, you will work in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on development, where we value work characterized by personal responsibility, participation, engagement, and collaboration between professional categories and your immediate manager.

We collaborate with obstetrics, gynecology, pelvic floor, laparoscopic abdominal wall surgery, and general surgery. Gynecology Malmö is a center for endometriosis, which means we perform many laparoscopies.

We offer you a positive and open work climate with opportunities to develop the department. Continuous competence development for our staff occurs regularly. When you start with us, you will receive an individual introduction program tailored to your competence and previous experience. We use Timecare as our scheduling system.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare and who have further education in operating room nursing. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement.

You have the ability to make both major and minor decisions.
