What we are looking for

We are now looking for an engaged and driven occupational therapist with experience in hand rehabilitation who wants to develop the future of rehabilitation together with us at Sportrehab Centralen.

You are passionate about development, quality, and evidence-based care, and are motivated by being part of an organization that constantly strives forward. We would like you to have experience of hand rehabilitation from primary care or specialist care. If you also have an interest in or experience of sports, training, or sports medicine rehabilitation, this is an advantage.

As a person, you are proactive, solution-oriented, and confident in your professional role. You enjoy working independently while appreciating collaboration and knowledge exchange with colleagues from different professions.

For the right person, there are great opportunities to lead the development of Sportrehab's hand rehabilitation. The role may involve driving development projects, contributing to business development, as well as planning and conducting courses, training, and lectures in the field. We are therefore looking for you who not only want to work clinically but also want to influence, inspire, and develop both the business and the profession.

The position is a permanent full-time employment.

A working day at Sportrehab

The main tasks are to receive and treat patients with problems in the hand or elbow, but may also include other occupational therapy interventions in primary care. Outward-facing work in the form of seeking contact and spreading Sportrehab's and your own profile and competence also occurs.

In your clinical everyday life with us, you will work with modern medical record systems and AI-integrated tools to facilitate documentation.

The position is mainly located at Sportrehab Centralen, but may also involve some work at one of our other units. There is also the possibility of working digitally from home.

You will receive specific training and support from our highly competent employees and experienced specialists in sports medicine and hand rehabilitation.

You will also receive extensive support for further education in occupational therapy and sports medicine. Sportrehab aims to give our employees the best conditions for evidence-based further development in sports medicine rehabilitation. 8 doctoral dissertations have been presented from Sportrehab and 6 more are underway. We have continuous staff training and team discussions to broaden our employees' competence. We hold a number of open courses on sports medicine rehabilitation every year. Over the years, Sportrehab has conducted around 50 courses.

About Sportrehab Centralen

Sportrehab Centralen is our oldest and largest unit, with just over 20 physiotherapists, 3 occupational therapists, an administrator, a receptionist, and a business manager. We want to inspire movement and training through our premises and simultaneously create warm environments where everyone feels welcome; we succeed well with this through our recently renovated gym and premises with a positive atmosphere! Your colleagues are a group of physiotherapists with long clinical experience, but you also have occupational therapists at our other clinics whom you meet and discuss with regularly. A working day as an occupational therapist at Sportrehab Centralen will involve meeting patients with primarily hand and elbow problems. You will receive extensive onboarding and support from different roles in the unit as well as the Occupational Therapists at our other units; we think it is important that you are part of the team at Sportrehab Centralen but also part of the Team of Occupational Therapists at Sportrehab.
