About the role

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a vital and meaningful role in various assignments for the defense sector, government agencies, and the private sector. You will work with the entire security chain – from analysis and requirements specification to implementation and verification.

You will become part of a competent team working on implementing and securing complex IT systems. The role involves a strong technical focus where you contribute your expertise in security solutions.

Responsibilities

This role involves designing, implementing, and securing critical IT infrastructures, with a special focus on Linux-based systems and compliance with security regulations. This will include, among other things:

• Working with IT security within defense, private business, as well as agencies and authorities.
• Working proactively to prevent cyber threats to contribute to a safer society.
• Implementing IT security solutions adapted to the client companies' operations.
• Being involved in all parts of the solution and development process, from requirements and analysis to project planning, implementation, and finally verification and approval of systems for operation.

We are looking for someone who

• Has good practical experience working with and implementing IT systems, both in cloud and on-premise environments, with a focus on security.
• Has extensive knowledge primarily in Linux, and also Windows.
• Has broad IT technical knowledge and a strong interest in learning and developing.
• Has good communication skills, both written and verbal, in both Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you have

• Relevant post-secondary education.
• Knowledge of security protection and security-sensitive environments, preferably linked to the Swedish Police Authority (PMFS), the Swedish Armed Forces (KSF), Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), or similar information system requirements.
• Experience in secure development (S-SDLC, DevSecOps) and code review.
• Relevant certification in IT security.
