Defence Force Dog Service Unit is looking for a summer substitute dog handler
The Defence Force Dog Service Unit (FHTE) is part of the Air Combat School (LSS). FHTE is responsible for the production, follow-up, and coordination of service dogs in the Swedish Armed Forces, “from breeding planning to operational teams.” FHTE’s mission is to develop the dog service and supply the Armed Forces’ combat units with service dogs that meet the high standards set by the Swedish Armed Forces. Together with handlers, the service dogs are trained for missions within the Swedish Armed Forces, both nationally and internationally. FHTE is now seeking a substitute dog handler for the summer at the facility in Märsta/Sigtuna.
The position is a summer substitute role during weeks 26–28 and 33–35 at 100%.
