We are now looking for a teacher with instruction in Physical Education and Health, as well as a shared mentorship role, for Alléskolan.

Alléskolan is a modern school organized into age-homogeneous work teams. Here, a dedicated staff team constantly drives development issues and has a clear focus on the student being at the center. The school has a world-class school library that supports student learning. The school is located centrally in Åtvidaberg, close to Kopparvallen and Bysjön.

We work to create clear, supportive learning processes and an equitable, evidence-based assessment. Our goal and focus are increased knowledge results and increased attendance among students.

Your responsibilities

As a physical education teacher, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in the subject of Physical Education and Health in close collaboration with your colleagues. You work to create varied and challenging teaching to lay the foundation for good health and physical ability among our students. The teaching is adapted to the students' different needs and conditions, with the aim that all students feel included, motivated, and given the opportunity to succeed.

The position includes a homeroom teacher role for grade 9 together with a colleague. The assignment involves close collaboration with students, guardians, and other school staff. You are also expected to actively contribute to the school's development work with a focus on increased goal achievement, attendance, and a positive learning environment.

You who apply

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility to teach Physical Education and Health. We are also interested in you who are at the end of your education. Previous experience of physical education teaching in lower secondary school is desirable.

To succeed in the role of physical education teacher, we see that you are calm and confident in your role. You have good leadership skills and can create engagement and participation among students. You adapt easily to changed circumstances. Furthermore, you are outgoing and have a good ability to create and maintain relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
