RESPONSIBILITIES

Sturegården Dementia Care Facility is looking for a Specialist Nurse. We warmly welcome your application!

Your role as a Specialist Nurse includes among other things:

• Mentoring and supporting nursing staff in various care situations, including preventing and alleviating BPSD (Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia) symptoms.
• BPSD Administrator: You act as a support and collaborate with the other administrators at the facility regarding BPSD planning, action plans, and care plans.
• Providing support to contact persons, particularly regarding implementation plans.
• Providing support to health prevention officers in their role; we work from a preventive approach.

We work based on IBIC and are currently developing our documentation. You will serve as a support to our documentation officers and the nursing staff.

You will lead and distribute work during morning and afternoon shifts with a focus on the resident, working closely with the unit managers at the facility.

You will be a good ambassador for your profession as a Specialist Nurse in Boden Municipality.

You will have close collaboration with and receive support from the Development Supervisor and the Dementia Care Developer.

You will receive regular professional nursing supervision in groups together with other Specialist Nurses, led by a certified professional supervisor. You will also receive training based on your specific needs. QUALIFICATIONS

A Specialist Nurse is a trained nurse with advanced professional competence for qualified work with people with dementia or elderly people with mental health issues.

Type of Employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start Date: September 1st.
