We are looking for a Project Manager for a public actor responsible for traffic and urban environment.

This is a consultancy assignment based in Stockholm.

The scope of the assignment varies between 50–100% of full-time employment depending on the project phase and needs over time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for a comprehensive infrastructure project focused on upgrading and developing a socially vital bridge facility in an urban environment. The project involves complex technical solutions, coordination between several disciplines and stakeholders, and work in an environment with ongoing traffic and high demands on accessibility, safety, and quality.

In this role, you are responsible for planning, leading, coordinating, directing, and monitoring the design work throughout the entire design phase. You work closely with project management, designers, constructors, and other suppliers to ensure that the project's goals are met regarding scope, time, cost, quality, environment, risk management, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Join the project's project management group
• Participate in the preparation, establishment, and revision of the project plan regarding design
• Identify resource needs from suppliers and prepare request for proposal documents
• Plan, lead, direct, and document assignment, design, and work meetings
• Coordinate work between suppliers
• Ensure that requirements and goals for the design are met according to the project plan
• Report monthly on the progress of the design to the project manager and relevant responsible functions
• Contribute to the planning and detailing of the assignment's execution together with the client

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
• At least 9 years of documented experience in the role of Project Manager.
• Engineering education of at least 3 years at university level within civil engineering or other equivalent education adapted for the assignment.
• Project management/design management education of at least 2 full days. Must have been completed within the last 10 years.
• Construction environment coordination. At least basic course for BAS-P and BAS-U.
• Contract law. General Conditions AB04, ABK09.
• AMA. AMA AF Consulting (10/23), AMA AF (12/21), AMA Infrastructure (20/23), and MER Infrastructure (20/23).

Meritorious

• Traffic installations and earthworks in public land, City of Stockholm. Must have been performed within the last 5 years.
• Good ability and experience in communicating in speech and writing as well as performing presentations.
• Experience in project management of infrastructure projects in inner-city environments, minimum ADT 10,000.
• Experience from project management in marine environments, such as quays or bridges.
