We are looking for a Buyer for the department of apparel, bags, and shoes. Here, you will work close to the business and influence the assortment in an organization with short decision-making paths, where the entire value chain is gathered under one roof.

As a Buyer at Gekås Ullared, you, together with the team and the Assortment Manager, are responsible for developing a competitive and attractive assortment in apparel, bags, and shoes. You have commercial responsibility for your product area and work actively with purchasing, negotiations, assortment development, as well as monitoring sales, profitability, and key figures. The role also involves driving the development of working methods and processes in line with the company's goals and strategies.

We are now looking for you who have experience in purchasing, assortment building, and price negotiations within apparel, bags, or shoes, and who want to contribute to Gekås' continued success together with us.

Competence requirements, professional background, and experience:

  • Relevant academic degree (in economics) or equivalent work experience
  • Several years of experience in purchasing with budget responsibility within retail, focused on the assortment area or similar relevant to this position (apparel, bags, or shoes)
  • Negotiation skills
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
  • Experience in purchasing within the apparel, footwear, or textile industry
