to apply for the job
We are now looking for two new employees for the night home care team based in Veberöd!
As part of our night team, you create security, provide support, and contribute to a calm and safe night for our users. You become an important part of the operations and work together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues to make a difference every shift.
We work with modern and smart digital solutions, such as mobile security alarms and digital locks. You always have schedules and documentation close at hand via phone or tablet.
About the role and your tasks
As a nursing assistant in the night patrol, you play a vital role in creating security and quality of life for people who remain living in their own homes. During the night, you perform care and nursing interventions, handle incoming security alarms, and carry out tasks delegated by the nurse.
The work involves close contact with our users and requires a professional attitude, good documentation, and a quality-conscious approach. You document in Lifecare and collaborate with colleagues within home care as well as with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.
You will currently be part of a smaller work group based at the home care facilities in Veberöd, responsible for interventions in Veberöd, Dalby, Södra Sandby, and Genarp. The position involves night work with duty every other weekend. Working hours are between 22:00 and 07:30, and full-time corresponds to 34.33 hours per week.
We are looking for you
We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with extensive experience in care work and in meeting users with varying needs, preferably from work within home care. You have a manual driver's license and are accustomed to working night shifts, including driving in the dark. Experience with end-of-life care is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, as is comfort with using computers and mobile phones at work. Since a large part of the working time involves working alone, you need to be both confident and independent. You need to be able to make your own decisions and handle both planned interventions and unexpected situations that may arise during a shift.
We offer you
As an employee with us, you are offered a range of benefits with a focus on balance, security, and health. Lund Municipality is a large organization with many exciting operations and opportunities for employee development. As an employee, you also gain access to our benefits portal where you can easily view and manage your benefits.
