Welcome, midwife, who is passionate about your work throughout the entire care chain. Around 1,600 babies are born here each year, and as a midwife, you have the opportunity to work in rotation across the maternity ward (BB), the antenatal department, and the delivery department.

Kristianstad Central Hospital (CSK) is a medium-sized hospital! Through short decision-making paths and a focus on employee engagement, we create together a practice we can be proud of.

The antenatal and delivery departments are located directly adjacent to the neonatal unit and the operating department. Here, we work to ensure that patients' birth experiences are as positive and natural as possible. The maternity ward has twelve care beds where women who have given birth are cared for, as well as some antenatal patients. In total, within obstetrics, we are approximately 100 midwives, nurses, and nursing assistants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who are a midwife with a genuine interest in people and who thrives on new challenges. Your tasks will consist of caring for pregnant women, women in labor, new mothers, their babies, and partners.

Here, you will receive an individual introduction, an assigned mentor, and time for reflection. To increase patient safety, we work, among other things, with the Green Cross initiative. There is a responsible midwife manager on the delivery/antenatal ward and maternity ward during all shifts, and we practice pair care. We care for each other and share the joy of work.

Since the operation spans the entire area of gynecology and obstetrics, there are great opportunities for variation in your tasks through rotation to our different units.

We strive to accommodate requests regarding working hours as much as possible through flexible scheduling.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed midwife with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills of at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. If you have previous experience in delivery care/postnatal care, we consider this an advantage. You must have basic IT skills, and experience with Obstetrix, PASiS, and Melior is a plus.
