Capio Lundby Specialists' Hospital is centrally located in Gothenburg and provides highly specialized outpatient care as well as day surgery procedures on behalf of the Region Västra Götaland. Your Role and Responsibilities

As a specialist surgeon, you will have an independent and responsible role in our day surgery team. Your tasks include clinical assessments, patient examinations, and surgical procedures within general and day surgery. You will become a key person with the opportunity to contribute to supervision, quality work, and strategic development. We value improvement work and collegiality, and you have significant influence over patient flows and working methods.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a specialist surgeon in surgery with several years of experience, preferably from a county hospital or similar, and has experience with day surgery procedures
• Thrives working both independently and as part of a team
• Is secure, responsible, and engaged in your professional role
• Values mentorship, knowledge sharing, and long-term relationships with both colleagues and patients
• Is curious about development work and wants to contribute to high quality within day surgery
