Our clinic is tasked with providing specialized outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric care for patients up to 18 years of age, which includes caring for patients with moderate to severe mental illness. The assessment and treatment work is carried out in an interdisciplinary team with close collaboration between different professional groups. We strive for short communication lines and actively work to improve our working methods to be able to reach more patients effectively and safely.

The clinic belongs to the Helsingborg area, which includes outpatient clinics in Ängelholm and Landskrona, as well as day care psychiatry for the entire area. Within day care psychiatry, infant activities and intermediate care are provided by the adolescent and family day care department. Inpatient care is located in Malmö.

Job Responsibilities

If you want to work with patients with mental/psychiatric illness and are curious about child psychiatric activities, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop in your professional role together with us!

As a Resident Physician, you will work both individually and in a team with common tasks at an outpatient clinic. You will also collaborate with neighboring care providers and other partners such as schools and social services. The work group consists of doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and medical secretaries. In the area, there is also access to occupational therapists and physiotherapists. We offer you supervision from specialist doctors and other colleagues.

The work is characterized by high competence, close collaboration and communication between different professional categories, and a strong focus on development issues.

The position is a fixed-term full-time employment. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a licensed physician or alternatively hold a medical degree with approved and complete eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe scale are required. This can also mean a passing grade in Swedish 3 or alternatively a passing grade in Swedish as a Second Language 3, or a passing result in Swedish for Non-Nordic Students equivalent to 60hp. Previous experience working with children and families is considered an advantage.

You are meticulous and structured and have an easy time collaborating with colleagues and external partners.
