One of our three orthoptists is reducing their working hours in anticipation of upcoming retirement, which gives us the opportunity to hire an additional employee for one or two days a week. The intention is that, in the long term, you will be able to increase your employment here to 100%. This will likely happen within two years. We are therefore looking for another orthoptist to join our fantastic team, who wants to help create high-quality care in a pleasant work climate. Are you the one we are looking for?

Our clinic serves both children and adults and covers general eye care, pediatric strabismus, diabetes, glaucoma, laser treatment, strabismus surgery, outpatient procedures, and macular injections. We have very high patient satisfaction and excellent results in our annual employee survey.

In our work, we focus on quality and the patient's needs. In our work group, we have a fine tradition of helping and supporting each other.

The clinic has approximately 30 employees, and we work Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00.

As an orthoptist with us, you will be part of our very well-functioning pediatric and strabismus team. This team consists of two ophthalmologists specializing in pediatric and strabismus care, three orthoptists, five opticians, and one eye nurse. You will alternate between your own clinics, where you see both children and adults for preoperative visits, e.g., prior to strabismus surgery.

You are a trained orthoptist and have experience working with both children and adults. Experience with strabismus surgery is an advantage. You feel comfortable managing your own clinics as well as collaborating closely with colleagues and working in pairs. You enjoy discussing the pediatric strabismus process with colleagues continuously throughout the workday. You are eager to contribute your experience while also learning from your new colleagues. You are unpretentious and flexible.

You work 07:30–16:00 and start the day with a short joint "pulse meeting" where we together review the upcoming day, assess yesterday's quality level, and finish with music and light exercises for the back and neck.
