SI TECH AB is looking for a Product/Production Developer

Do you have a technical interest and want to be part of a world-leading company within marine technical gear? We are looking for you who want to work with product development and contribute to both improving existing production and developing new production flows.

About SI TECH AB

SI TECH AB has extensive experience in the marine sector and is world-leading in our field. Our customers are primarily manufacturers of technical gear such as drysuits and survival suits, and our products are sold globally through a distribution network.

We have our own product development, production, marketing, and sales, which means we have control over the entire value chain – from idea to finished product. Our facility is located in Brastad and we have approximately 30 employees.

We work closely with our customers and develop or adapt products to their needs. Furthermore, we are entering new exciting areas of application for our products, which opens up for more development opportunities within the company.

About the role

With us, you will have an active and varied role focused on product and production process development. You will:

• Develop and improve production processes to increase efficiency and quality
• Optimize production flows and implement new methods
• Work together with the product development team to develop and adapt products according to customer needs
• Use CAD programs to create and update drawings
• Communicate with suppliers
• Collaborate with the marketing side to ensure that the products meet customer requirements

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who:

• Have knowledge in CAD and experience working in CAD programs
• Are analytical and solution-oriented – can identify areas for improvement and implement changes in workflows
• Are cooperative and receptive – you work in the production development team but also closely with both the production team and the marketing side
• Are technically minded – have an understanding of production processes and enjoy improving
• Fluent in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing

Qualifying experiences

• Experience in production development
• Knowledge of LEAN, 5S, or other methods for efficient production
• Experience in product development
• Practical manufacturing such as turning, milling, welding, and injection molding

Duration/Working hours

The position is a fixed-term employment for 6 months, with the possibility of a permanent position. Working hours are full-time during daytime, 07:00-15:30, on-site in Brastad.

According to agreement. We also offer a wellness benefit.
