Lundellska School is an upper secondary school with approximately 1,500 students located in a stimulating and beautiful environment on Campus Polacksbacken. We all support the students so that they can succeed as well as possible in their studies based on their prerequisites. The path there involves good knowledge, good relationships, good leadership, and not least a pleasant, nice, and well-maintained work environment.

The position is shared with Meal Service, which operates restaurants and kitchens within the municipality's operations and constantly strives for development. An important part of this is sustainable meals and gradually increasing organic purchases.

Description of duties

In the morning, starting at 06:00, you start as a cleaner at the school. Your task is to create a good indoor and work environment through professional cleaning and to ensure that premises such as classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other spaces maintain a high hygienic standard. You are part of the school's cleaning team, which, together with the team leader, plans and divides the work. The cleaning work continues until approximately 10:00 during the day.

After that, you take on the job as a meal assistant at the school's restaurant, which is operated by Meal Service. There, you should be available for the guests during lunch. You are part of a rotating schedule where you take turns working at the counter and in the restaurant, as well as other usual tasks in the kitchen. It is important to have knowledge about the ingredients in the food and be able to report them so that guests, for example those with allergies, receive allergy-safe and good food. The day ends with cleaning the school restaurant and kitchen.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have upper secondary education or equivalent for service professions within hotels, restaurants, and similar fields. Previous experience in cleaning, kitchen work, restaurants, serving, and various types of youth activities is meritorious.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.
