About the role

In the role of personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with whatever arises in their daily life. Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Every person granted assistance is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You will respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily routine. The client's individual needs dictate the workday, which may include help with mobility, personal care, training, communication, as well as household chores and activities both inside and outside the home.

At Humana, it is important that both you, as a new assistant, and the client feel secure in your collaboration. Therefore, all new assistants receive a tailored introduction, both to the professional role and to the specific client you will be working with.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is good at building relationships, is highly engaged, willing to take responsibility, and adapts easily to new situations.

We are looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Want to work for a woman in her 70s living in Falun.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish.
• Hold a valid B-driver's license (you will drive the client's car as part of the job).

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience in similar work.
• Have experience working with aphasia.

Working hours and employment type

As a summer temp, you will work on a temporary contract with a schedule set by our client. We would, however, like you to consider continuing as an hourly temp after the summer. Working hours are scheduled between 08:00–13:00 and 15:00–20:00, both on weekdays and weekends.

Start date

The start date for the summer temp position is immediate or by agreement.

Working at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
