The habilitation service is for children and young people with permanent disabilities and their families. Our mission is to create conditions for participation, development, and a functional everyday life together with the child and their network. We work in a person-centered and family-centered manner, where the child's perspective and resources are always in focus.
Our clinic serves children and adolescents up to 17 years old and is based on cross-professional, family-centered team work. We are located in beautiful Ängelholm, close to both the sea and fine nature. The clinic is situated on the northern hospital campus in newly built and purposeful premises with the latest equipment. We have good commuting options, with a walk from the train station taking approximately ten minutes.

Job Description
As a physiotherapist with us, we offer you a broad and varied role where you contribute to creating the best possible conditions for a functional everyday life for children, young people, and their families.
Your tasks include assessment, planning, and implementation of physiotherapeutic interventions for delayed and/or atypical motor development as well as for permanent disabilities. Interventions are given individually and/or in groups and are planned in close collaboration with the child or adolescent, guardians, and other important people in the network.
The work also includes giving advice, supervision, and education regarding motor training in daily activities, play, and physical activity, as well as assessing the need for, prescribing, fitting, and following up on medical technical and orthopedic technical aids. The work is carried out in cross-professional teams and involves collaboration with, for example, preschools, schools, healthcare, and other relevant actors. You meet patients both in our premises, via digital healthcare contacts, and as needed in the child's immediate environment. Travel may occur in the role.
Qualifications
We welcome you who are a licensed physiotherapist/chiropractor with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. Since travel occurs in the role, a valid B-driver's license is also a prerequisite. We consider it meritorious if you have experience working with children and young people and/or working with persons with permanent disabilities.

The position is a parental leave replacement for approximately 1 year.
