About the Role

Do you want to become an important part of the energy transition? Vattenfall Services is Sweden's leading contracting company within the energy and high-voltage sector, and we are developing Sweden's energy infrastructure! At us, you work in a future-oriented industry with a strong focus on a sustainable future. We need more energy heroes, and now we are looking for a Distribution Electrician. Is that you? As a Distribution Electrician, you will work on our major service contracts involving maintenance, service, and fault resolution, and you may also work with new construction and projects. We work with both overhead lines and underground cable networks, as well as within different voltage levels, 0.4-40 kV. Depending on your level of experience, you may also lead and be responsible for borrowed staff and subcontractors in the role of electrical safety supervisor.

In addition to the technical work, some of your main tasks will include:

• Documenting and reporting on the progress of the work.
• Contributing to safe working conditions in the field for yourself and your colleagues.

Travel, outdoor work, and working at heights are a natural part of the job as a Distribution Electrician. Service work requires day trips within the nearest geography, and longer trips may occur. On-call duties may also be included.

Requirements

As a Distribution Electrician with us, you are the company's most important asset for the work carried out in the field. Therefore, we are looking for you who are engaged and always stand up for your colleagues. You are motivated by offering service and quality to your colleagues as well as customers, and you always act in a business-like manner in your work.

Independence is a large part of the job and is an important part of being able to move the work forward. We are therefore looking for you who take responsibility and have a great commitment to your assignments. You would never let profitability come before safety.

At Vattenfall Services, safety always comes first, which means we must have an accepting work climate. We are there for each other, and we learn from each other's mistakes. When you start with us, there is always mentorship. Depending on your level of experience, the duration and amount of mentorship vary.

We know that you will develop together with us. But we would like you to already have:

• A completed upper secondary education or higher, in electricity, high voltage, technology, or another relevant area.
• Some years of experience within the electricity or high voltage sector.
• Experience from the contracting industry is meritorious.
• Computer skills (Office package).
• B driver's license as travel is involved in the role.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. English is meritorious.

In this recruitment, we are looking for employees for several of our departments in Nyköping and Sörmland. Examples of locations are: Nyköping, Trosa, Gnesta, Katrineholm, and Södertälje.
