Keolis Regional Traffic in Uppland is looking for bus drivers to meet upcoming needs in autumn 2026 at our depots in Uppsala, Enköping, Bålsta, Tierp, Heby, Österbybruk, Östhammar, and Östervåla. The positions are full-time or on-call depending on the depot.

About the position

As a bus driver in line traffic for Keolis, you will have a flexible job. You will drive all lines in the area and all types of buses. Traffic runs 24/7, so your working hours will vary throughout all hours of the day. It is therefore very important that you are flexible and can work according to all schedules. We prefer that you live near the depot you are applying to, as you may start early or finish late. The position involves driving and working in accordance with both EU driving and rest times and the Road Traffic Act. The employment starts in autumn 2026.

Employment types for this announcement:

Full-time employment - Full-time work with varying hours. Weekend work is included.

On-call employment - Hourly work where you work a minimum of 2-3 days a week, with varying hours.

Requirements

  • D-category driving license
  • Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB*)
  • Digital driver card
  • Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
  • Experience from service industries is an advantage
  • Knowledge of EU driving and rest times and correct handling of tachographs is an advantage

At Keolis, we use driving tests in the selection process.

* Since we prioritize finding the right person for the right place, we are, in selected cases, prepared to offer continued CPC training. This applies, for example, if you obtained your bus driving license before 2008.

Salary as a bus driver

When working as a bus driver for Keolis, you receive a salary according to an agreement called the Bus Industry Agreement.

This is an agreement determined jointly by the union and employers. The salary changes once a year, in October.

Your salary depends on how many years you have worked as a bus driver. To demonstrate this, you need to submit a document called a certificate of employment.

In addition to your base salary, you may also receive:

  • Shift allowance (extra pay for working evenings, nights, or weekends)
  • Holiday pay or holiday days
  • Extra pay for additional and overtime hours
  • Other possible supplements
